As BUZÇELİK TERMİK CİHAZLAR SANAYİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, in order to establish and effectively implement the TS EN ISO 46001:2019 Water Efficiency Management System, to ensure the sustainable use of water resources, to reduce water consumption, to prevent water pollution, and to contribute to the protection of natural resources, we hereby declare the following commitments:

Our top management, with the aim of ensuring the effectiveness, continuity, and continual improvement of the Water Efficiency Management System, undertakes to:

• Ensure the determination of water efficiency objectives and the increase of awareness with the participation of all employees,
• Monitor and analyze water consumption in production, administrative, and social areas, and reduce inefficiencies,
• Take necessary measures to detect, eliminate, and prevent losses and leakages,
• Monitor processes related to water use with measurable performance indicators, compare them with targets, and ensure continuous improvement,
• Comply with applicable legal requirements, local regulations, and Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) infrastructure requirements related to water efficiency,
• Follow new technologies and best practices related to water management and efficiency,
• Increase water efficiency awareness and disseminate it throughout the organization by providing regular training to employees,
• Carry out continuous improvement activities aimed at reducing water consumption in line with corporate sustainability goals.

This policy undertakes to ensure its implementation and continuity within the framework of the TS EN ISO 46001:2019 Water Efficiency Management System. The policy is reviewed at least once a year, updated, and communicated to all employees.
